Students at CERN

Welcome to the Center for Global Development, Technological Change and Entrepreneurship, an innovative web-research center created for students, faculty and visiting scholars interested in frontline research in the development of public policies that make societies free and prosperous.

The Center is an on-line resource that carries out many of its activities using state of the art technologies as tools for the purpose of promoting an open scholary exchange of ideas.

Set down your opinion about current events in our monthly survey, or speak out in our innovative on-line Paideia Lecture Series!

Some of the Center's main research themes involve the role of markets and governments in the world economy, international factor mobility, development and techological change; in a nutshell the benefits and costs of globalization and the "Battle of Ideas".

The current global economy has been driven by technological and political change that as Daniel Yergin has said "none of them would have happened without a revolution of ideas".
